Are prices based on double occupancy?

All prices quoted on the Amazing Holidays website are per person, sharing a double or twin room or cabin (unless stated otherwise).

What is a single supplement?

A supplement, usually a percentage of the per person sharing price, is levied when a single traveller occupies a double or twin room or cabin.

Are transfers included in package holidays?

Transfers are generally included, but will always be stated under "inclusions". If it is not stated under "inclusions", it is not included.

Do I need travel insurance?

Amazing Holidays strongly recommends that all clients have a travel insurance policy to ensure your peace of mind before and whilst travelling. It is important that you protect yourself in case of trip cancellation or interruption for any reason, travel or baggage delay, loss of baggage and medical expenses.

Until when should my passport be valid?

Your passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months beyond the conclusion of your trip.

Are visas necessary?

Depending on your nationality, you may need visas to enter certain countries included on your itinerary. Please note that obtaining visas can take up to six weeks prior to your departure. You can confirm with our travel consultants, or with the local consulate or embassy of the country you are visiting which visas you will require and how to obtain them. It is strongly advised that you determine this well in advance.

Will my deposit be refundable?

As we are acting as an agent for a multitude of tour operators, the refund of any deposit is entirely subject to the terms and conditions, more specifically the cancellation terms, of the particular operator involved. This information can be obtained from your travel consultant prior to confirming your holiday.

When will I receive my documents?

Most documents will be dispatched approximately 4 - 6 weeks prior to travel, unless otherwise stated.

Do I need to take health precautions prior to travelling?

It is always advisable to consult your GP or a travel clinic for any possible health precautions, especially when travelling to Africa, South America and Asia. Another useful source of information are websites like www.travelclinic.co.za
